Kingfisher Mark’s 2026 is over and bookings are now closed until next year. This year was a busy, successful and happy year will lots of our ‘regular groups’ coming on board, and several ‘new groups’ being welcomed too. Due to power issues, sadly the last two weeks of trips had to be cancelled, with refunds given, which was a great shame for all involved. However, after a winter season of rest and repair Kingfisher Mark will be back ‘in harness’ and ready to welcome everyone on board again. The 2027 Season will run from Monday 26th April until Friday 1st October.

Kingfisher Mark was built to provide comfortable and safe trips for our passengers
The Kingfisher Medway Trust is a registered charity. It was set up to commission the building of a boat specifically designed for adults and children who suffer from mental or physical disabilitites and their carers.
She was designed by a marine architect and constructed to meet all necessary safety requirements and is licensed to carry a maximum of 12 passengers.
A team of qualified skippers and trained crew members, all volunteers, operate the boat on its trips from her berth at Wateringbury on the river Medway.
The boat is fitted with a lift to help wheelchair users and others to get on board easily and safely. Space restricts us to carrying no more than 3 manual wheelchairs at any one time. Because of the weight of electric wheelchairs these can only be taken by prior arrangement so please discuss this with Jane Rogers when making a booking.
